Jamaica Pond
Checked out Jamaica Pond for the first time on Sunday. The pond was stocked w/ trout the week of 3/21. ( http://www.mass.gov/dfwele/dfw/recreation/fishing/trout/trout_stocking_nd.htm )
I spent about two hours. The weather was a real mixed bag. It was windy all day with a mixture of sun and clouds (and even about 15 minutes of a rain/snow mix).
I tried a Joe Flies spinner, Kastmasters. bucktail jig, etc.. and didn't get a nibble. I tried a number of spots around the pond. There were about 8 or so folks fishing. One guy snagged a rainbox w/ a Fly setup. The rest where having a day similar to mine. :-)
All in all, it felt great to get a line wet!!
